I was born and raised in San Marcos, California. I moved to Utah just prior to my 21st birthday. I met my wife (Karen Garrett) in Salt Lake City at the old Terrace Ballroom during a Thursday Night Young Adult dance. We have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. I've spent most of my life in broadcasting. I worked for KSL Television, The Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers and the LDS Church in various broadcasting positions. I am now in my second career as a full time Real Estate Agent and I love it. I love meeting new people and helping them establish their homes. I spend my spare time trying to keep up with the grandkids.
In my spare time, I love to swing dance and work out at Orangetheory. I am a big believer in being a life-long learner. I listen to books about just about anything. Business. Economists. Self-development. Epic Fantasy Novels. Really anything. When I don’t have a book I am listening to NPR’s podcast “How I Built This.” I believe we find the most joy in this life through the relationships we create with those around us.
